Stereoculture

Stereoculture is a cozy garden management sim about recycling junk into jukes and growing trash into tunes. Originally made for the 2024 GMTK Game Jam.

You play as Ganga, an alligator with an extra green thumb who, along with her drone Sprinkly, will choose from an eclectic variety of seeds and harvest your "plants" when the pitch is just right to satisfy a cavalcade of curious customers with tantalizing timbres. Grow spaceships the size of a tin can and tin cans the size of a tower! How will it affect their sounds? How will it change the music?|

+ Select a seed then select a plot to plant your junk. Some junk have special effects that change how things grow. 

+ Your junk needs water to grow and may wilt or die without it! Fertilizer can help junkgrow faster and mulched plants can make more fertilizer. 

+ Keep an eye on your musical motif and check the pitch of junk with the tuning fork as they grow. 

+ When they reach the right size, harvest them with the claw! When you have harvested something for every note, you will automatically play them to make music for your happy customers! Now get growing!

This game was made by Solar Lightshow and friends as part of the Game Maker's Toolkit Game Jam 2024, Built to Scale.
